Hotel Review: Hyatt Centric Murano (Venice, Italy)

Location:

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Centric Murano, and it was an incredible experience. The Hotel is on the peaceful Murano Island along the canal, with a water transport station in front of it. It's only a 30-minute boat ride from and to Venice, making it a perfect spot for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

Cost:

The Hyatt Centric Hotel is a Category 3 hotel, and the number of points required for a stay varies depending on the season. During off-peak season, a standard room can cost 9,000 points per night, while during peak season, it can cost up to 15,000 points per night. Similarly, a Standard Suite room can cost 17,000-23,000 points per night. If you prefer to pay for the Hotel, the cost is around €160-€300+ per night. We used 12,000 points per night plus city VAT for our stay, and we stayed for three nights.

Transportation:

They offer complimentary private taxi boat service for its guests to and from Marco Polo Airport, available between 9 AM and 8:30 PM. During our recent trip, we arrived at the airport at around 6 PM and had pre-booked our taxi boat for 7 PM, two weeks prior to our arrival. We were provided with clear instructions on where to find the docking station for our pickup, which made the entire experience very convenient. Overall, this was one of the highlights of our stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed the service.

Ambiance and Décor:

When I walked into the Hyatt Centric Murano , I immediately noticed its elegant and sophisticated atmosphere. The lobby was spacious and had modern furniture (not pictured), creating a luxurious feeling. The Hotel had done a great job incorporating Murano's cultural heritage into the decor. The artwork and intricate glass sculptures displayed throughout the space paid tribute to the island's rich history.

Room:

During our stay at the Hyatt Centric Murano, we were upgraded to The Duplex Suite due to my Hyatt Explorist status. The suite was spacious and luxurious, with two floors of comfort. I loved relaxing in the cozy living area and sleeping in the plush king bed in the loft. The only complaint I have about European hotels is that guests do not have control over the room's A/C temperature. Despite that, the suite was perfect, and we would definitely stay here again.

Fitness Room & Sauna

The Hyatt Centric Murano offers a fitness room available 24/7 and a sauna and steam room open daily from 5 AM to 10 PM. Please note that there's a small fee for using the sauna and steam room. As we had a short stay, we didn't have a chance to try these amenities

Dining Experience:

Although we did not dine at the Hotel's restaurant, we discovered several other options near Hyatt Centric Murano. The area offers many restaurants and cafes to suit different tastes and budgets. However, most of these establishments shut down by 5 pm, except for a few restaurants, which remained open beyond this hour.

Service:

The staff at Hyatt Centric Murano are attentive and friendly, ensuring all our needs are met, from check-in to personalized recommendations.

Overall Impression:

After our stay at the Hyatt Centric Murano, it exceeded our expectations. The location was peaceful and serene, and the accommodations were luxurious. The service we received was impeccable, making it the ideal choice for anyone looking to have an unforgettable experience in Venice. Whether planning a romantic trip or a relaxing getaway, the Hyatt Centric Murano offers the perfect blend of comfort and luxury.

Final Rating:

★★★★ 1/2 (4.5 /5 stars)
