Places to visit in London

Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of the British monarch. It has been a favorite of tourists for many years. It is one of the city's most popular attractions, and a great place to see some history in action.

If you happen to visit during the season when it is open for an exclusive guided tour, book your ticket in Get Your Guide here and explore their State Rooms.

While here, you can watch the “Changing the Guard” - A ceremony which happens Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and daily in the Summer that starts at 11:00 am in London outside of the Palace. For detailed schedule check out their website here

St. James's Park is an incredible place to visit. It's a peaceful and beautiful green space, with plenty of flowers and trees. You can also walk there from the Buckingham Palace.

Parliament Square Garden is one of the most iconic locations in London, and it's a great place to take a picture when you're visiting the city for the first time. It is home to several famous buildings and monuments, including Westminster Abbey, Big Ben (Elizabeth Tower) and the Houses of Parliament.

Across the Parliament Square Garden is where you can capture the famous red telephone booth and Big Ben together.

Westminster Pier is one of the best places to go for a walk or relax and enjoy the nice view of the London Eye. This place is just a short walk from Big Ben (Elizabeth Tower), as well as some of the most popular tourist attractions.

The London Eye is a giant observation wheel that offers great views over the city and can be seen from many other places in London.

Check out the Get Your Guide here to book your ticket

Piccadilly Circus is known for its large, illuminated billboard and it is one of the most popular places for tourists to visit because of its bright lights and many attractions, including shops, restaurants, hotels, theaters, and cinemas.

Btw, do you know that London is 2 hours away from Paris via Eurostar? If you are planning to visit Paris don’t forget to check out my blog about 6 places you need to visit in Paris.

The Soho neighborhood in London is one exciting and interesting neighborhood. It's filled with great restaurants, pubs, and shops that cater to a wide range of tastes. You can find everything from the high-end designer stores on Regent Street to the vintage clothing shops on Carnaby Street.

Peggy Porschen is one of the most beautiful Cafes I’ve been to. This cafe has always been my inspiration when it comes to seasonally cakes and confectionery arts.

They have two locations in London and the one I have visited is in Belgravia which is their original location.

Overall, London is a great place to visit. Whether you're looking for history or culture, theater or food, there's something for everyone in London! I hope this list has helped you figure out where your next trip should be (and if not...maybe it will give you some ideas).
